It makes me mad and sad that my employer pays for all these "apps" in their web-based walled garden. This is some next-level vendor lock-in!

It'd be amazing if my employer instead spent even a fraction of this supporting the software I actually use for my day-to-day work. But what can I do?

The International Organization for Standardization ( ) publishes standards which "are the distilled wisdom of people with expertise in their subject matter and who know the needs of the organizations they represent"...

I dunno, maybe it's just me, but is requiring people to copy an XML file out of a PDF, split over multiple page breaks, _really_ the work of someone who understands my needs??

I asked my work if I could get a larger mouse for working from home during , since I have fairly large hands. I was keen on one of the MX Master ones, but they were too expensive. Instead I found some weird other brand , and got their MT750s for less than half the price.

I was sceptical at first, but it seems to work flawlessly with ! With both Bluetooth and USB. It even has a hardware DPI button, which actually works better than Logitech, in my experience.
